Hacienda Pinsaqui offers comfort, elegance and a strategic location for exploring Imbabura Province.
There are not many hotels, in Ecuador that can say they hosted Simon Bolivar, the Liberator of South America.
Hotels were sparce two hundred years ago, but there was one particular hacienda situated along a common travel route (today’s Panamerican Highway), wich housed travelers, including Bolivar.
Founded in 1790, Hacienda Pinsaqui, is part of Ecuadorian history and visitors today have a chance to share in that history while staying at one of the country’s most exclusive lodgings. Those who want to feel closest to antiquity can request room number one, where Bolivar reportedly slept.
